The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is, as many have described it, horror in its gruesome and more raw form. The film follows a group of friends who run into a family of cannibals while they are on their way to visit an old, ruined homestead. Although often referred to as a true story it is thankfully entirely fictional, although some of the crimes were inspired by real life murderer Ed Gein. Although gruesome to watch this is a film that will definitely continue to make best horror film lists for years to come.Image by JordanStimpson is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0 (source: Pixabay)
