Comedy series’ you can’t stop re-watching

We all know that when we feel down or even when we feel happy some of the best television shows to sit down and watch are some good old fashioned comedy series’. With current shows and some older ones, today we are making a list of all comedy series’ you cannot stop re-watching.


Where do we even start with Friends? This American sitcom might just be the tip of every list when it comes to the best TV series’ of all time. The show itself is centered around 6 friends; Phoebe, Joey, Monica, Chandler, Ross and Rachel who live in New York City. The show charts their lives, their highs and lows, through love, marriage, children and career changes and will have you laughing all the way through. The show was aired from 1994 – 2004 and lasted 10 seasons, so you have plenty of episodes to get through. Friends is the ultimate comedy series that will have you laughing until you cry and crying until you life. Put this one at the top of your list today.

Family Guy

If you like animation then Family Guy has to be top of your charts for watching, and if you are anything like us you love the dark satire that Family Guy brings. Following the Griffin family of Peter and Lois and their children Meg, Chris and Stewie with their dog Brian. Family Guy is full of humour, pop culture references and will have your laughing and wanting more. Lucky for you there are so many series’ for you to get through.

The Big Bang Theory

Another great comedy series you will want to keep on your radar is The Big Bang Theory. The shows itself is focused around five characters, with Leonard and Sheldon who are both physicists. They share an apartment with Penny who is an aspiring actress who lives across the hallway. Leonard and Sheldon are often geeky and socially awkward and provide a stark contrast with their friend Penny. With so many seasons this is one you will want to watch time and time again.


Sometimes the old ones are the good ones, and although it has been off of the air since 2004 during its heyday it ran for eleven seasons, running since 1993 and is a spin off from the series Cheers. Psychiatrist Dr Fraiser Crane has returned to live in his home town of Seattle Washington after the end of his marriage. You will follow Dr Cranes new life back in Seattle, including his psychiatrist brother Niles and Daphne Moon as his fathers live in physical therapist. This is a series that lives on and you will want to watch time and time again.
